The Christmas Tag || 12 Days of Christmas

               Hiya!
So guys I thought I’d try blogging for the next 12 days on the run up to Christmas! Will definitely be a challenge to keep on schedule and fit in time to blog with school etc but I think it’ll be really fun too! Keep in mind not all the posts will be Christmas related, will just be some posts I’ve wanted to write for a while but haven’t got round to doing so yet J Also let me know if there are any posts you’d like to read from me.
I thought I would start with something festive and do the Christmas tag since I've seen many bloggers I read do this already.

1.When do you start getting excited about Christmas?
Well since Christmas is my favorite holiday I get excited pretty quickly, maybe even before Halloween… Usually around the end of October :) I'm still just a kid at heart.

    2. Do you still have advent calendars?
The last few years, sadly not but I complained to my mum this year and she definitely made up for the last few years. She bought me the best advent calendar from Thorntons which is The Snowman themed and on the final day it had a bigger chocolate personalized with my name. Magical.

    3. What are your favourite Christmas Films?
Like every other person and their mother I love Elf, never fails to make me laugh. Arthur Christmas is a pretty cute movie and Fred Claus is funny too.

    4. Do you have any funny Christmas memories?
Nothing in particular jumps to mind, I just love the entire day. Lying around with my family, eating a lot and watching some good movies. Always just such a great day.

    5. Talk us through your typical Christmas Day?
I get up and open all my presents along with my sister, we then usually go back to our rooms for a while and just chill and take our times to get ready. The last few  years some of my aunts and cousins come up for dinner so around 12 everyone arrives. The whole day then just consists of food and chat and charades. Yes we really play charades. Later that evening it’s all just very relaxed and I can do whatever, watch some movies normally though.
6. What do you eat for Christmas Dinner?
Home made vegetable soup is what I like for starter. Meat wise I love roast beef, I don’t really like meat but I love that. Then all the usual trimmings, stuffing, vegetables, yorkshire puddings, cocktail sausages and gravy. Then for dessert I normally just have ice cream or melon, I’m not a big fan of Christmas type puddings or mince pies…
7. Do you have any Christmas traditions?
Not really, just always spend it with my family. There’s nothing special we do every year since neither me nor my sister are young anymore L
8. Which are your favourite Christmas songs?
Mariah Carey – All I Want For Christmas Is You, is always a good song. Also love Britneys – Santa Can You Hear Me since Britney is my queen.
9. What is the best Christmas present you ever received?
Again nothing in particular springs to mind but I love all the presents I get every year. When I was younger I was always over the moon with something to do with Barbie’s or anything artsy.

10.Real or fake Christmas tree?
We have a plain green fake tree which I love but the smell of real trees is amazing. When I move out I think I’ll have a real tree though.

I tag everyone reading this to do this tag!
Hope you guys enjoyed!

Rebecca Black

               Hiya!
Rebecca Black, yeah, so this is a bit random but as you know I did a post on a youtuber Sarah Belle a little while ago HERE and have some more coming up so maybe not so random. Rebecca Black is a pretty well known name after shooting into the public eye over 2 years ago thanks to her viral song ‘Friday’..
Friday certainly wasn’t her finest hour but I personally feel she got way too harshly criticised for being a 14 year old girl wanting to do something she loved, I’m sure many of us did stupid things when we were 14 only we were lucky enough not to have it recorded and posted online for all to see. Since then Rebecca has actually been making Youtube videos HERE and I honestly really like them. She does things from covers of songs to random popular videos going about youtube like tag videos. She seems like a really down to earth normal girl who makes funny videos and is just enjoying all the opportunities she has been given since Friday was released.
If you are unaware Rebecca has just released a sequel to Friday, featuring Dave Days, called ‘Saturday’ HERE. I think it’s a really catchy, good to just dance to song. Also look out for all the references to Friday Rebecca makes throughout the song! Many other youtubers appear in the video including Connor Franta, Ricky Dillon, Lauren Elizabeth and Jennxpenn to name a few. (you should check these guys out too!) I really hope people judge the actually song and not the girl singing it and because it is linked to Friday. I seriously urge you to check out the song and Rebecca’s other videos because she’s such a sweet girl.

Let me know what you think of Rebecca Black?
Have you heard her new song yet?
Hope you guys enjoyed!

New Lip Products

                 Hiya!
Finally the festive period is upon is and it is socially acceptable for me to listen to as many Chritmas songs as my heart pleases and begin feasting on chocolate everyday. Anyway... it's been a little while since I’ve talked about new beauty products but just the other day I decided to pick up some new lovely things for my lips.

First off is the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula with Vitamin E Lip Balm in the original scent. I recently ran out of my favourite medicated chapstick mentioned HERE and decided to try something new and had seen quite a few people using this stuff around school so thought I'd give it a go. It was only £1.89 from Boots which is a complete steal! It’s a super creamy consistently which feels amazing on your lips and is completely sheer so great to use everyday especially in school. Another bonus is it has SPF 15 which is such a great plus especially as I’ve had my lips burnt before and let me tell you it's seriously not fun. All round I’ve been really enjoying this lip balm and advise you to pick it up if you’re on the hunt for a new one.
Next is a product that has been raved about by US beauty bloggers for a while now and its Maybelline’s Baby Lips. They’re pretty much just a lip balm but majority of them are tinted with a sheer wearable colour. The one I picked up is in “Cherry Me” and is a sheer redish colour, great for everyday wear as just a hint of colour. I wouldn’t reach for this if I was after a super moisturising lip bam but if I wanted to wear a little bit of colour on my lips this is great as it doesn’t dry them but, for my anyway it doesn’t add much moisture either.
Finally I was on the hunt for a nice deep red colour for the upcoming festive period and decided on the Kate Moss Matte Collection for Rimmel London in the colour 107. It’s a beautiful rich deep red colour and stays on your lips for so long since it’s matte. It’s also not overly drying considering it is matte. I also like to just blend a little onto my lips and wear it a little more sheered out and not just so dramatic for more everyday wear.

Have you tried any of these products?
What lip products have you been loving recently?
Hope you guys enjoyed!

Fashion | White

               Hiya!
So I've just been catching up on some of my favourite bloggers and decided to sit down and write about something I've been truly loving at the moment. I'm pretty boring when it comes to fashion, I love wearing black and any other neutral colours like white, brown and grey. Recently though I've had a particurlar love for white, even though it's no longer summer and heading into the colder, gloomier monthes. It's something I've actually noticed quite a few celebrities rocking but in particurlar Vanessa Hudgens, so I've decided to share some of my favourite looks with you guys!

A great way to wear white is to experiment with different textures to add more to a very simple top. Or like in the second photo white structured trousers are a little more daring but can look very sophisticated and elegant.
White really is timeless and can be styled to suit everyones taste in fashion. To me it makes any look more feminie, like the structured trousers which may look quite boy-ish otherwise. And looks quite sweet and delicate.

What do you think of these looks?
Do you personally like wearing white?

Hope you guys enjoyed this post!

Halloween Tag

               Hiya!
So, ehm.. yeah.. can we just ignore the fact that I have been absolutely horrible at blogging recently and that school has well and truely gotten the better of me. So to ease me back into the swing of things I decided to do a fun Halloween Tag. (found through Regarding Evie, go check her out!) Halloween is a pretty fun time of year, I love dressing up and being able to do crazy hair and makeup that I wouldn't normally wear.

1.Favourite Halloween movie?
The Nightmare Before Christmas is a pretty great movie, and can Mean Girls count as a Halloween movie? I feel like I'm missing out considering I've never watched Hocus Pocus.. (don't hate me )

2.What age did you stop going trick or treating?
I'm honestly not too sure, maybe like 12/13? I loved trick or treating though, was always so much fun.

3.Favourite Halloween costume you've worn?
Ok, I was pretty unoriginal when it came to costumes and just wanted to be a cat every year, sometimes a witch if I wanted to shake things up a bit. But last year I went as Minnie Mouse and loved it, even though it's not the scariest costume ever..

4.What are you going to be this year?
Well I had my costume ready for a family party this year and was super excited until I got told it was changed to the week after Halloween and was 'Hollywood Stars' themed. I was planning on being Wednesday Addams and was so pumped, the first year I was planning on being something some what creepy and it gets taken away from me. :(

5.Do you like going to haunted attractions?
No. I'm am scared of everything so people trying to play tricks on me around Halloween never go down well.

6.Vampires or Werewolves?
Would have to be vampire just so I could have Damon.. yanno from The Vampire Diaries?

7.Favourite Halloween candy?
Definitely a toffee/candy apple! I seriously love them so much, especially which the coating is like bright red. Definitely not a healthy colour but who cares! I really want to try some candy corn though because americans seem to go crazy for it and I've never tried any.

8.Do you decorate your house?
No, we use to when my sister and I were younger but not so much now..

9.Least favourite costume?
Hmm.. don't think I've ever been disappointed with any of my costumes, even though I was always a cat I loved it every year.

10.Have you ever repeated a costume and what was it?
As I've mentioned a cat. And I think maybe a witch's costume maybe..

11.Do you believe in ghosts?
I'm not entirely sure, I've never encounted any paranormal but shows and stories about spooky things always freak me out.

12. Scariest Halloween?
I don't think I've ever had one specific Halloween that I've realy been frightened..

Ok guys so that's the Halloween tag!
If you guys wanna do this leave a link so I can check it out!
Hope you guys enjoyed!
